On average, bosses work two years more over the course of their careers, putting in a good 16,000 more hours of overtime that are neither paid nor taken into account for tax purposes. This was revealed by the current study of the "Working Time Monitor 2018". For professionals, the additional effort amounts to half, and there are large differences between the industries. The consulting industry, for example, works an average of 5.2 hours of overtime per week and thus leads the field.
